ABOUT THE CANDIDATE

Meet Simon

Simon G. Rezac has spent his career in the Lancaster County Clerk of the District Court's office. He rose to Administrative Services Officer, where he led the accounting department, managed three budgets exceeding $2.6 million, and oversaw monthly cash flows approaching $1 million.

When former Clerk Troy Hawk resigned in January 2024, the Lancaster County Board conducted interviews and appointed Simon to the position on February 20, 2024. He took the oath of office on March 5, 2024, administered by Judge Andrew R. Jacobsen.

As Clerk, Simon also serves as Lancaster County Jury Commissioner — a role that puts him at the center of the county's trial operations.

Now, Simon is running in the 2026 election to continue serving Lancaster County in the office he was appointed to fill.
